Job Description

Job Title – Care Support Worker
Pay Rate – 15-17/hr

Location: Wishaw, Motherwell, Coatbridge, Lanark, Carluke, & Airdrie Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (3 Months initial, with long-term potential)

Are you passionate about making a difference directly within your community? We are seeking dedicated and adaptable individuals to join our outreach team, providing vital support across North and South Lanarkshire.
This is not a desk job. You will be community-based, traveling between locations to provide high-quality care and support where it is needed most.

The Role
This is a mobile, outreach-based position. You won’t be tied to a single office; instead, you will work across various settings in Wishaw, Motherwell, Coatbridge, Lanark, Carluke, and Airdrie.

Shift Patterns:
To ensure comprehensive support for our service users, we operate on a flexible rota:

  • Early Shifts: 7:45am – 4:45pm
  • Late Shifts: 12:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Occasional Long Days: For those looking for extra hours or continuity of care.
  • Hours: Primarily full-time schedules.

Requirements

  • Mobility: As this is an outreach role covering multiple towns, a valid driving license and access to a vehicle are highly desirable.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work the shift patterns listed above, including occasional weekends.
  • Resilience: Comfortable working in a community-based environment rather than a fixed facility.
  • Commitment: Available to start at the end of January and commit to an initial 3-month period (with a high likelihood of extension).

What We Offer

  • Consistent Hours: Full-time blocks of work to provide financial stability.
  • Variety: A dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.
  • Longevity: While initially a 3-month placement, there is a strong potential for the role to become ongoing based on performance and community need.
