JOB TITLE:Infrastructure Engineer (Web Access) LOCATION(S): Leeds or Edinburgh We’rereliable and scalable infrastructure through code. looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with a passion for learning, problem solving and creating secure, and implement what Infrastructure and Policy as Code look like across the organisation. Working closely with our Senior Infrastructure Engineer, and scalable approach to infrastructure delivery. be supported by experienced colleagues and encouraged to grow your skills through hands on work, training Whether you’re early in your journey or looking to deepen your security expertise, this role offers the chance to make a real impact as part of one of the UK’s largest transformation programmes.Support the design and implementation of softwaredefined infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – for example Terraform.Assist in maintaining and supporting existing infrastructure resources, helping to troubleshoot and debug issues in live environments.Contribute to building reusable, secure infrastructure components (“codified guardrails”) that help teams move faster and more safely. Support the maintenance and improvement of the web access product by implementing changes and enhancements based on business requirements.Investigate incidents and issues to identify root causes and contribute to solutions that improve customer experience.Support monitoring, live service diagnostics and the identification of defects or performance issues. Build familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tooling to improve the automation and stability of infrastructure workflows. A foundational understanding of Infrastructure as Code, with some exposure to tools like Terraform, or similar. Ability to develop scripts or small applications to automate tasks within production environments. Problemsolving ability, able to work through issues logically with guidance from senior colleagues.A good understanding of Agile principles and familiarity with tools such as Jira. Experience in Cyber Security and knowledge of web access management technologies (e.g., proxies), secure browsing solutions, data loss prevention, and malware protection. Experience using change management tools such as ServiceNow to implement operational changes.
