Job Description

Salaried GP Opportunity – Douglasdale Medical Practice

Sessions: 6 per week

Contract: Salaried GP (with potential view to Partnership)

Douglasdale Medical Practice is a friendly, welcoming, and unique rural training practice working across three sites: Douglas, Rigside and Coalburn. Our setting offers a varied patient population, a supportive team, and the chance to work within rural countryside.

We value work-life balance, encourage lunchtime exercise, and foster a culture where wellbeing and community matter.

We’re looking for a committed and compassionate GP to join our team for 6 sessions per week. The role includes:

  • Working across our three practice sites
  • An equal share of medical cover at Lady Home Community Hospital
  • Delivering high quality, patient centred care
  • Contributing to our training environment and wider practice development

This post is offered initially as a Salaried GP position, but we’re very open to discussion and there is a potential view to Partnership for the right candidate.
