Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to join the UK largest Systems Integrator, working on the installation and assembly of control panels for industrial automation projects.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong practical electrical skills and experience working with industrial control systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, wire, and install electrical control panels for industrial automation systems
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
  • Install components such as PLCs, HMIs, drives, relays, contactors, and power supplies
  • Carry out panel wiring, trunking, gland termination, and cable management
  • Perform electrical testing, fault finding, and commissioning support
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical standards, quality procedures, and safety regulations
  • Support site installation activities when required

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Time-served Electrical Technician or relevant electrical qualification
  • Proven experience building or installing industrial control panels
  • Ability to read and work from electrical drawings and schematics
  • Experience with industrial automation components (PLCs, VFDs, sensors, I/O)
  • Good understanding of electrical safety and best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
