Role responsibilities Assess applications from societies under seven pieces of mutuals legislation, managing cases to tight timescales while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance Manage externally facing inboxes, including logging cases and responding to enquiries from a wide range of stakeholders Manage your own caseload, including making decisions on applications within agreed frameworks and escalating complex or high-risk cases where appropriate Process annual return submissions from societies, ensuring content is accurate and suitable for publication Investigate issues, identify risks and take appropriate action to achieve the right regulatory outcome in a timely manner Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to support effective decision-making Contribute proactively to team, departmental and divisional initiatives and activities Support the effective day-to-day running of the Mutuals Team and delivery of its objectives Skills required Minimum: Strong organisational skills, with proven ability to manage a high-volume and demanding workload at pace while maintaining quality and accuracy Previous experience assessing and analysing information from multiple sources to reach appropriate, well-reasoned outcomes Essential:
