Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Community Support Worker to join our supported living service at Hawthorn Cottage in Oakham.
This role involves providing high-quality care and support to adults with a learning disability and/or autism, enabling them to live as independently as possible within a supported living environment.
- Location: Hawthorn Cottage, Park Lane, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6PG
- Hours: Up to 37 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: 7:00am 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday
- Contract: flexible rota (5 days out of 7, including alternate weekends)
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care, including washing and dressing
- Supporting with medication administration
- Meal preparation and nutritional support
- Offering practical and emotional support in daily living
- Promoting independence, dignity, and choice at all times
About You:
- Caring, compassionate, and reliable
- Able to work flexibly across a 7-day rota
- Comfortable providing personal care and medication support
- Experience in care is desirable but not essential full training will be provided
