Our Client;
HIU Engineer required for our client, they are a Domestic, Commercial, and Industrail Heating Contractor based in Glasgow who have been established for over 20 years. They specialise in residential, industrial and commercial gas, mechanical, and electrical services, offering a full suit of plant room re-fit, service, and repair works. The Heating Engineer will travel throughout the East Lothian, West Lothian, and Edinburgh and will attend domestic boiler and HIU breakdown, repair and service work.
Heating Engineer / HIU Engineer Key Responsibilities
– Service, repair, and maintain heat interface units / HIU’s, and domestic boilers (if qualified)
– Identify and diagnose problems with gas appliances and systems
– Repair and maintenance to hot and cold water systems
– Perform regular maintenance on gas appliances and systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
– Ensure paperwork is complete on time and accurately
Heating Engineer / HIU Engineer Requirements
– NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating
– Experience in maintenance and service or HIU’s
– ACS Domestic Gas Tickets (Advantageous)
– ACS Commercial Gas Tickets (Advantageous)
– Based in within a commutable distance of East Lothian, West Lothian, Edinburgh, and surrounding areas
– Full UK Driving License
Heating Engineer / HIU Engineer Remuneration
– Salary 45,000 – 48,000
– Travel pay after 15 mins
– Overtime available
– Call out 1 in 7/8 ( 180 for standby)
