Job Description
We are seeking Site Engineers to join our client’s team at Peterhead on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting out, monitoring earthworks, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Setting Out & Surveying:
- Accurately set out works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
- Carry out as-built surveys and provide precise measurements for construction activities.

Earthworks Monitoring:
- Oversee and monitor earthworks operations to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Record and report progress against project requirements.

Documentation & Record Keeping:
- Maintain detailed site diaries and daily records of activities.
- Update and manage Inspection Test Plan (ITP) documents to ensure quality control.

Site Coordination:
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.

Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all works meet required specifications and standards.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of earthworks and civil engineering principles.
