Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic GP to join our friendly, supportive, and professional team to cover for a maternity locum. The post is 6 sessions and is from April 2026 to April 2027

About Us

  • Jamieson Medical Practice is a large friendly hard working 2-site practice serving 15,400 situated in Chryston and Moodiesburn, North Lanarkshire. We are well positioned for access to the M80 and M73 motorways with travel to Glasgow within 15 minutes.
  • Modern, purpose-built premises with ample free parking
  • Training practice with a strong educational ethos
  • Cross-boundary referrals to Glasgow and Lanarkshire hospitals
  • Currently using EMIS, with plans to move to Vision
  • 13 appointments per session (morning & afternoon), 13 minutes each

Our Clinical Team Includes

  • 5 GP Partners
  • 3 ANPs
  • 3 Practice Nurses
  • Supported by: Practice Pharmacist, Pharmacy Hub, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, CTAC, GP Link Worker, District Nurses, Health Visiting Team, and an experienced Admin Team

Education & Development

  • Weekly practice meetings
  • Monthly PBSGL meetings
  • Quarterly Protected Learning Time (PLT) events
