Job Description

The postholder will be an integral part of the administration team within the School with a wide variety of duties relating to Education-related activities. It is a very dynamic and interesting role involving interaction with a wide variety of people, both internal and external to the institution.

Responsible for providing high-level support and management of the admissions and registry processed for a suite of healthcare programmes in the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition.

Actively promoting the institution and programmes, the postholder is an expert in healthcare admissions and is the first point of contact for enquiries. The admission process generates a large number of data requests from individuals under Freedom of Information Act and part of the role is to provide an accurate and responsive services.

Responsible for the registration and appropriate record keeping of healthcare students, the postholder is the Registry Officer for the healthcare degrees.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and possess experience in higher education administration. They will demonstrate experience in managing a heavy workload whilst adhering to regulation and deadlines.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 6 scale , £38,784 – £46,049 per annum, and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.

Although occasional home working is possible, the expectation is that the successful candidate will work predominantly in the office based at Foresterhill.
