Plating Operator, £29,321 + 10% Shift Allowance, Rutherglen

Responsibilities:
- Operate manual chemical plating lines across a range of coatings, including:
Zinc
Zinc Nickel
Electroless Nickel
Gold
Silver - Monitor production tanks, conduct chemical analysis, and adjust levels as required
- Perform X-ray testing to verify coating thickness
- Complete job cards with accurate and detailed process information
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety throughout all tasks
Requirements:
- Strong hand dexterity with practical, demonstrable examples
- Experience working on precision components to high quality standards (desirable)
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Previous plating experience preferred, but full training will be provided
Shift Pattern (Two-Shift Rotation Once Trained):
Early Shift:
Mon Thu 6:00am 2:00pm, Fri 6:00am 1:30pm
Back Shift:
Mon Thu 2:00pm 10:00pm, Fri 2:00pm 9:30pm
