Responsibilities

  • Be the face of the restaurant by delivering friendly, welcoming and helpful customer service.
  • Deal with customers and ensure everything runs smoothly in customer areas.
  • Make children feel welcome, hand out balloons, and help organise special events.
  • Look after customers’ specific needs and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the dining area and toilets.
  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere and establish positive communication with customers at all times.
  • Keep the manager informed about customer satisfaction and any issues that arise.
  • Work in a fast-moving, high-energy environment and connect with customers so they feel valued.

Qualifications

  • Friendly, welcoming, courteous and helpful behaviour; a natural ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, including attentive listening, face-to-face verbal communication and eye contact.
  • Ability to maintain high energy levels while working efficiently and productively.
