Our Salesforce technology stack is mostly made up of the following technologies: APEX, JavaScript, SOQL, SOSL, Flows, Lightening Web Components, HTML, CSS, Custom Objects, Complex Batch Jobs, Triggers, Azure DevOps, Odaseva & Copado, with internal integrations facilitated through our Azure Cloud Services architecture.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing:
- Developing solutions to the required quality, design, coding, performance and security standards, in a fast-paced agile environment
- Providing production support, through investigations of incidents, triage and fix
- Testing solutions thoroughly, prioritizing the use of automated testing standards and techniques
- Using a mixture of low code and click driven solutions alongside more customised coded and developed options when required
- Creating and supporting custom lightning web components, triggers alongside scheduled batch jobs
- Ensuring quality and continuous improvement through design reviews, code reviews, retrospectives
- Taking collective ownership for the platform as a whole, responding to its needs for stability and availability
- Providing accurate and timely estimates for proposed solution development
- Working closely with colleagues to share knowledge and ensure the continuous growth of our development community
What you’ll bring:
- Prior experience in a similar Salesforce Engineering role with relevant qualifications such as Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator
- Experience working across the Salesforce Ecosystem including Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
- Strong understanding of Clean Code practices, Object Orientation, SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, Governor Limits and Salesforce Best Practices
- Growth-oriented and adaptable with an ability to meet the changing needs of the platform and our customers
- Passionate about software development, demonstrating your passion through blogging, contribution to open source projects, attending tech events, pet projects at home
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and adapt your style to meet the needs of your audience
- Curiosity, with a desire to innovate to find optimal technical solutions
