Overview:
Corrie Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Foreman or Ganger to join a small team on a major civil engineering project near Thurso.
This is a great opportunity for either an experienced working Foreman looking for steady long-term work, or for someone ready to step up into a leadership role under the guidance of a Senior Site Foreman.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily work for a small team
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met at all times
- Support the Senior Site Foreman with planning and delivery of tasks
- Carry out hands-on civil works where required
- Maintain clear communication with the site team and management
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card
- First Aid certification
- SSSTS or SMSTS (5-day preferred, 3-day considered for the right candidate)
- Proven experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to lead a small crew
- Must pass drug and alcohol testing prior to starting
