Job Description
An established Housing Association based in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Tenant Health & Safety / Cyclical & Compliance Officer to join their Property Services team on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Gas Safe registered engineer or property compliance professional to step into a vital short-term role supporting safety and maintenance standards across the housing stock.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting the Cyclical & Compliance function, ensuring the organisation meets all statutory and regulatory safety obligations.
Your focus will include gas, fire, electrical, water, lift and asbestos compliance, as well as cyclical maintenance oversight.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing compliance programmes for gas, legionella, fire, electrical, lifts and asbestos

Conducting pre, progress and post inspections across maintenance works

Monitoring contractor performance and KPI delivery

Handling communal heating system queries and compliance checks

Processing invoices up to 5,000 and supporting monthly performance reporting

Upholding high standards of tenant safety and customer service
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:

Gas Safe registered (essential)
-
Experienced in property compliance, cyclical maintenance, or building safety

Skilled at liaising with contractors, tenants, and colleagues at all levels
-
Organised, proactive, and detail-focused
-
Ideally from a housing, local authority, or facilities management background
This role would also suit a Domestic Heating Engineer or Boiler Installer looking to move into a compliance-focused role within the housing sector.
