Job Description
We are seeking and experienced electrician to work within Edinburgh to carry out all aspect of general repair work. This is a mobile role as you will be working at more than one location within in Edinburgh (transport provided)
Proven experience in:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) ensuring all electrical systems are serviced, tested, and compliant.
- Reactive repairs and fault finding across a wide range of electrical installations.
- General electrical repairs including lighting, power distribution, wiring, and containment systems.

Strong understanding of current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Health & Safety awareness and commitment to safe working practices.
Skills/Certifications:

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018 + A2:2022).

Test & Inspection qualification (C&G 2391 or equivalent).
-
IPAF/PASMA/First Aid at Work certification.

Experience in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Valid CSCS card
Responsibilities:

Carry out routine maintenance and PPM schedules to minimise downtime and ensure compliance.

Respond promptly to reactive repairs and resolve electrical issues efficiently.

Conduct electrical testing, inspection, and certification where required.

Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.

Maintain accurate records of work completed.

Liaise with site managers, supervisors, and clients to ensure high-quality service delivery.
