Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, and installation work on a variety of production equipment. Experience with drives, PLCs, and HMIs is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment.
- Carry out installation work to provide services to equipment.
- Undertake facilities repairs and maintenance work as needed.
- Collaborate with subcontractors when necessary.
- Liaise with machine manufacturers for technical support.
- Identify and procure necessary parts and materials for maintenance tasks.
- Experience with print machinery is beneficial but not essential.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance roles, particularly with drives, PLCs, and HMIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair equipment faults.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for liaising with subcontractors and manufacturers.
- Flexibility to undertake a variety of maintenance tasks as required.
