Materials & Distribution Officer
Penicuik
£25,000 £27,000 (DOE)
Monday Friday, Dayshift, 37.5 hours per week
We re looking for a proactive Materials & Distribution Officer to join our warehouse and inventory team within a global medical device organisation. This is a hands-on role where you ll support stock control, distribution, and dispatch processes, ensuring compliance with GMP/GDP standards and warehouse Health & Safety requirements.
What you ll do:
- Manage stock movement booking, distributing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
- Maintain accurate records
- Support warehouse tasks such as stock checks, replenishment, and disposal.
- Uphold GMP/GDP standards and Health & Safety requirements.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively within the wider team.
What we re looking for:
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse Health & Safety best practice.
- A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to handle both varied and routine tasks.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous warehouse or GMP/GDP experience desirable.
