Salary: Up to £46,810
Contract: Permanent
Shifts: Flexible (Days or Nights)
We re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a fleet maintenance unit (VMU), mainly working on trailers. As an HGV Technician, you ll be maintaining a wide range of vehicles, keeping them safe and roadworthy. This role is ideal for an HGV Technician who wants to focus on quality work without dealership KPIs or sales targets.

What you ll be doing as an HGV Technician:

Carrying out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HGV trailers

Diagnosing faults and completing defect rectifications to keep vehicles roadworthy

Preparing trailers for MOT inspections to ensure compliance

Maintaining a safe, organised workshop and managing tools and inventory
What we re looking for in an HGV Technician:

Experience as an HGV Technician, Mechanic, or Fitter with strong technical skills

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or time-served experience

Commitment to health & safety in a busy workshop environment
