Location: Lesmahagow, Scotland
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: We believe in fair, transparent compensation for the hard work our drivers put in. Here’s what you can expect:

Base Salary: £685.54 per working week

Separate Allowances: £74.70 (e.g. night out, subsistence, or other applicable allowances)

Estimated Take-Home Pay: Approximately £610/week after tax and pension deductions

Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate articulated vehicles to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently across the UK. This is a nightshift position on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, involving long-distance deliveries down south.

Main Responsibilities:

Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle,

Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely manner,

Couple and uncouple trailers, ensuring safe and secure load management,

Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road,

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance or repair requirements,

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption,

Always adhere to company safety protocols and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence with

Minimum 1 years experience

Basic mechanical knowledge to perform daily checks and minor fault reporting,

Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members,

Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours as needed,

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
