Forklift Truck Operative
West Edinburgh
Grant Westfield, the company behind the UK s best-selling brand of waterproof wall panels, Multipanel and Naturepanel, is looking for FLT Operators to join their team in the heart of Edinburgh, to undertake a variety of loading and unloading tasks in support of the overall production and dispatch operation, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations.

There are multiple FLT Operative roles available. We are also able to provide inhouse training on FLT if your licence has expired or you dont have a licence.
Key responsibilities:
To undertake a variety of tasks in support of the overall production and dispatch operation, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Operating a FLT to move stock around.
- Loading and unloading vehicles, Storage racking and process equipment.
- Picking and packing finished goods and raw materials.
- Carrying out product quality inspections.
- Checking stock for damaged or missing items.
- Maintaining an accurate record of stock and carrying out stock counts, as required.
- Finishing products to a consistently high standard.
- Monitoring the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality tests.
- Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff.
- Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse to ensure operational efficiency.
The successful candidate s profile:
Skills and experience:
Essential
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Fit for manual handling.
Desirable:
- A Counterbalance fork lift truck licence and/or licence to drive assisted lift equipment. Or previous forklift experience.
