ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR
BASED EAST KILBRIDE, PERMANENT, EXCELLENT SALARY PLUS BENS

Headquartered in East Kilbride Grw Talent’s client is building out a high-volume electronic probe test card production and assembly business. Already employing over 100 heads they continue to grow in Scotland, USA and Asia. The business is celebrated for an open, fair, empowered and highly engaged culture where people matter and rewards are shared across the company. They now need to make the key hire of an Accounts Administrator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join their team due to rapid business growth. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Administrator will provide support with day-to-day financial operations and help ensure the smooth running of the finance function.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input invoices and complete 3 way matching
  • Ownership of expenses portal and processing expense claims into the finance system
  • Take ownership of the finance/accounts inbox, ensuring emails are responded to promptly or directed to the appropriate team member
  • Assist with basic bank and supplier statement reconciliations
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve invoice or coding queries
  • Respond to external supplier queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Chase outstanding debts from customers
  • Help prepare payment runs by gathering and checking supporting documentation
  • Assist with data entry and preparation of reports for month-end
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date records of financial transactions and documentation
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required
  • Driving process and control improvements across the function

You’ll need to have some experience in a finance or accounting support role with an understanding of basic accounting principles and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software. You should also have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy and good organisational and time management skills.
