Job Description
Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking skilled professionals for a Cable Containment position within the Marine Defence discipline. This contract role, based in Govan, is part of a 12-month project focusing on Naval Ships, and offers day shift work to start with.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing cable installation, containment, and reaving
- Carrying out certain cable containment tasks
- Providing ancillary duties in support of electricians
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
Job Requirements:
- Experience in cable containment, preferably within the Marine Defence sector
- Familiarity with cable reaving and installation practices
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Understanding of health and safety best practices
- BAE-specific experience; particularly in BAEGlasgow and BAE-trades-electrician roles
Further Information:
- Position involves working on Naval Ships
- The role does not require specific trade papers
- Initial headcount is 20, expected to grow
