Site / Setting Out Engineer – Permanent Role – Tier One Construction Contractor

First People Solutions is working in partnership with a leading UK-based construction and civil engineering contractor. Our client is a forward-thinking business delivering complex building and infrastructure projects across a range of sectors.
With a healthy pipeline of work, they are looking to expand their Site Engineering team with the addition of a permanent Site / Setting Out Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying duties for building and civils projects

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
-
Liaising with site and project management teams to ensure timely delivery

Maintaining records, site diaries, QA documentation and as-builts
-
Ensuring works are carried out in line with HSEQ standards
Requirements:

HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

Proven experience in a site engineering role within construction ideally with a Tier One
-
Proficient with setting out equipment -total stations, GPS
-
Strong communication and organisational skills
-
CSCS card and full UK driving licence essential
