Job Title: Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer
Salary: £42,436.00 per annum plus company car/ car allowance, Pension, Health plan, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays).
Realistic OTE £70,000.00 (Salary + overtime)
Location: Covering Newcastle/ Scotland
Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week
We are advertising this Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer role on behalf of our client CBES . City FM was established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the world s largest privately held, integrated FM companies.
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the role is to effectively maintain service and repair refrigeration equipment in customer locations & provide assistance to HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits as well as ensuring that health and safety is at the forefront of all actions.
Main Accountabilities:
- Delivery of Refrigeration commissioning works on site in compliance with the agreed project specification and within agreed timescales.
- Liaison with the Project / Installation Manager at all times striving to ensure that project works are delivered on time, snag free and to the agreed specification.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, CBES HSE management systems, procedures or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all colleagues and sub-contractors follow safe systems of work on site.
- Striving to achieve snag free completion and where snagging occurs to ensure it is resolved within 6 working days.
- There will be opportunities to work on the very latest in refrigeration technology.
Skills Required:
- Excellent technical knowledge and experience of working on refrigeration systems within the food retail sector.
- Experience in working unsupervised
- A can do attitude and self-motivation
- Flexibility in working hours and travel requirements
- A good degree of IT literacy.
- Holding a full and clean driving licence.
- Excellent communication skills.
Essential qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)
- City & Guilds (2079) F Gas
