Service Technician / Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer required to join a leading manufacturer of industrial pumps.
The Successful Service Technician / Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer will provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on pumps and pump systems at the workshop in Glasgow.
The Service Technician / Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer will ideally have a Fitting / Service background in mechanical engineering, such as, pumps, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, valves, rotating equipment, compressors, or similar. Full product training provided.

Service Technician / Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer Role
- To provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on pumps and pump systems at the workshop in Glasgow.
- The Pump Fitter will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of pumps, pumps, and pump related products and systems.
- Installing pumps into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on industrial pump equipment.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Technician / Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer Requirements
- Fitting / Service background in mechanical engineering, such as, pumps, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, valves, rotating equipment, compressors, or similar. Full product training provided.
- Experience as a Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter / Electromechanical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
- The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
- Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
- A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
- Willing to travel to commute to the workshop in Glasgow
