Job Description
Kilnbridge – one of the UK’s leading civil engineering and construction specialists are seeking skilled Fire Stoppers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining fire-resistant materials whilst following health and safety regulations.
We are hiring Fire stoppers in the following areas Ilford, Kings Cross and West Kensington
Days: Mon-Fri
Hours: 9.5 hours paid per day
Key Responsibilities
The Fire Stopper will be expected to:

Install fire barriers, fire wraps, fire collars, and intumescent materials to seal gaps and penetrations in walls and floors.

Read and interpret technical drawings, fire-stopping schematics, and work orders.

Work effectively with site managers, surveyors, and other trades to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.

Maintain high standards of workmanship while adhering to health and safety protocols.

Complete job records and documentation accurately.
Requirements
The Fire Stopper will be required to have the following
- NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent qualification.
- IPAF, Leading EDGE & PASMA are desirbale for the Fire Stopper role.

Proven experience in fire stopping and passive fire protection.

The Fire Stopper will need to have the ability to use hand tools and fire-stopping materials effectively.

Good understanding of relevant fire safety regulations and standards.

Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
