Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine inspection, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of fire alarm systems in accordance with relevant British Standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine service and maintenance of fire alarm systems in compliance with BS 5839 standards.

Diagnose system faults and carry out repairs promptly and effectively.

Complete commissioning of fire alarm systems when required.

Provide accurate documentation of work carried out, including service reports and remedial recommendations.

Liaise with clients and site contacts in a professional and courteous manner.

Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures on all sites.

Keep up to date with the latest fire safety legislation and technological advancements.
Required Experience and Skills:

Strong working knowledge of BS 5839, BS 7671, and other relevant fire safety standards.

Familiarity with various fire alarm panel types and protocols

Full UK driving licence (clean preferred).

ECS/CSCS card and FIA Units 1 & 5 (or equivalent) desirable.
