Job Description
Electromechanical Fitter / Electrical Fitter / Fitter required to join a leading electromechanical engineering manufacturer based in Aberdeen.
The Successful Electromechanical Fitter / Electrical Fitter / Fitter will provide service, maintenance, repair of electromechanical, electric motors, gearboxes, generators, and similar at the workshop in Aberdeen / offshore / on site.
The Electromechanical Fitter / Electrical Fitter / Fitter will have a good electromechanical engineering background ideally in rotating equipment such as generators, electric motors, gearboxes or similar electromechanical rotating machinery. Candidates who can wind / rewind electric motors are highly encouraged to apply.

Electromechanical Fitter / Electrical Fitter / Fitter role:
- Will provide service, maintenance, repair of electromechanical, electric motors, gearboxes, generators, and similar at the workshop in Aberdeen / offshore / on site.
- Will also carry out electrical fault finding, testing, wiring and rewinding of electromechanical products such as electric motors & generators, and more, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and operational before delivery.
- Will work away from home when required, on site / offshore.
- Identify machinery damage and conduct basic electrical testing.
- Ability to complete technical documentation as work is progresses.
- To perform other duties as assigned from time to time and liaise with various engineering departments.
Electromechanical Fitter / Electrical Fitter / Fitter Requirements:
- Experience as a rotating equipment engineer, pump engineer, pump fitter, fitter, hydraulic fitter, hydraulic engineer, valve technician, installation engineer, pump installation engineer, mechanical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, mechanical engineer, service engineer, electrical engineer, workshop engineer, service technician or similar.
- Will have a good electromechanical engineering background ideally in rotating equipment such as generators, electric motors, gearboxes or similar electromechanical rotating machinery. Candidates who can wind / rewind electric motors are highly encouraged to apply.
- Will ideally have the experience and ability to conduct testing and control checks on electromechanical rotating machinery.
- An engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous would be advantageous.
- Requirement to work away from home / onsite / offshore.
- Must be commutable to the workshop in Aberdeen.
