- Co-produce and manage individual support plans.
- Assist with staff recruitment processes and service referrals.
- Lead shifts in the absence of the Service Manager, providing guidance and support to the team.
- Mentor and supervise junior Support Workers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Actively participate in service improvement initiatives, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive environment for clients, promoting their well-being and independence.
RequirementsWe’re looking for you, if:
- You possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a support worker role, ideally within homelessness, mental health, or addictions services.
- You hold an SVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- You demonstrate a passion for supporting individuals facing challenges, such as homelessness, mental health issues, or substance misuse.
- You possess strong communication, interpersonal, and team working skills.
- You are able to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- You are available to start immediately.
- Advantageous: Experience in a senior support worker capacity.
