The Role
As Head Tractor Driver, you ll lead across a wide range of field operations, with sole focus on the potato cropping cycle. Your responsibilities will include:
- Spraying, planting, and harvesting of potato crops
- Operating and maintaining modern machinery, including GPS-guided tractors and implements
- Coordinating with management and seasonal teams to ensure efficient, timely fieldwork
- Maintaining field records and supporting compliance with health, safety, and crop assurance standards
What We re Looking For
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with potatoes.
- PA1 & PA2 spray certificates (essential)
- Demonstrable experience with planting and harvesting potatoes
- Strong machinery operation and maintenance skills
- A proactive, detail-focused work ethic and the ability to work both independently and within a team
- Full UK driving licence (telehandler ticket desirable)
