Structural Technician

First People Solutions is working with a leading consulting engineer who is seeking a talented Structural Technician / Revit Technician to join their structures team. If you have a passion for building structures and possess experience using design software, this is an exciting opportunity to further develop your career with a dynamic and innovative team.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise AutoCAD / Revit software to create accurate and detailed 3D models, focusing on reinforced concrete, timber and steel
- Collaborate closely with structural engineers and design team to integrate design information and ensure model accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of design standards and best practices within the structures team
- Stay updated with the latest industry advancements and emerging technologies
What we need from you:
- HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 3 years of experience within a design engineering environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit is desirable
- Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to meet project deadlines
- Able to communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
