Location: Danderhall, Dalkeith, EH22 1QX
Salary: £28,000 £36,000 DOE, with opportunity to progress to Senior Technician!
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM (No Weekends)

The Role
As a Junior Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you ll carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks while developing your skills through hands-on experience and support from senior team members.
Your day-to-day may include:
• Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on light vehicles
• Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic tools
• Tyre fitting (training provided)
• Air conditioning recharging
• Wheel alignment (training provided)
• Road testing vehicles to confirm successful repairs
• Completing job cards and service records accurately
• Contributing to a clean, safe and well-organised workshop
• Maintaining high quality standards and a positive team environment
• Access to ongoing training and development opportunities
What We re Looking For
Essential:
• All levels of experience welcome including non-UK qualifications and hands-on experience without formal certification (must have right to work in the UK)
• A full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK required.
• A genuine passion for vehicle maintenance and repair
• Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• A team-oriented mindset with a can-do attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow
Desirable:
• Your own tools
• Experience in tyre fitting, A/C, or wheel alignment
