This role is initially a 12 month FTC
About the Role:
As an Indirect Buyer, you ll be responsible for supporting the procurement of CAPEX and indirect procurement activities. This role gives you the opportunity to improve efficiency, manage costs, and maintain quality by helping to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and build relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end procurement process for indirect goods and services.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance and performance.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement needs with business objectives.
- Analyse market trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues promptly to ensure business continuity.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in indirect procurement or a related role, ideally within the consumer goods sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and suppliers.
