Job Description
Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Multi-Skilled Engineer to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in South Aberdeen.
Hours: 6am – 6pm on a 4-on 4-off rotation
Salary: 42K – 47K
Daily Duties –
- Undertake Electrical and Mechanical routine maintenance of equipment, quality inspections and fault finding on the production lines and process
- Communicate with productions teams, providing timely updates on breakdowns/down time
- Carry out Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Routines inspections, reports and remedial works
- Electro-mechanical repairs to high-speed, PLC-controlled plant handling and packaging equipment, also pneumatic and hydraulic control system
- monitor production line and machine performance, identifying and investigating faults and improvements
Candidate Requirements –
- Mechanical and/or Electrical Qualification
- Previous experience working within manufacturing, FMCG, food or meat production
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC control, refrigeration and PTW systems
