Electrical Supervisor needed in Aberdeen.
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor with a strong commercial background to join our team in Aberdeen.
Role Overview: As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical installation and maintenance operations across various commercial sites. You will ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget, while maintaining full compliance with health and safety regulations. This is a key leadership role within our team, with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of electricians on commercial projects, ensuring work is carried out to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Plan and coordinate electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across commercial properties.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Oversee the preparation of risk assessments, method statements, and other documentation as required.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team, troubleshooting electrical issues and providing solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports, timesheets, and materials used.
- Assist with project planning and the ordering of materials and resources.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Gold ECS card
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, with a solid background in commercial electrical installations.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and project management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Full UK driving license.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
