Job Description
Audience Experience Designer
Permanent
Edinburgh (Hybrid working)
44,067 – 48,682
LHH is delighted to be supporting our client, Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans, to appoint an Audience Experience Designer.
The impact of vision loss is huge. But with the right support, people with vision loss can gain the skills to remain independent and active in their communities – to thrive. That’s why we’re here.
For 230 years, Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans has been supporting people impacted by vision loss. We believe we play an important role in continually shifting the conversation around sight loss, and contributing to achieving a fair, equitable society. Over the years, we’ve seen a positive shift in expectations, with individuals and communities increasingly empowered to live lives the way they choose, free of discrimination.
The Audience Experience Designer plays a critical role in understanding the needs, behaviours, and journeys of our supporters, donors and beneficiaries and ensuring that our communications are engaging, have impact and are focussed on their needs. This is a new exciting role, created to develop audience insights, mapping and creative journeys through multiple channels, both offline and online. You will be responsible for advising on the design of campaigns and engagement to ensure an experience that is impactful and audience centric.
The purpose of the role is to develop journeys that convert prospects into supporters cross selling and up selling different products, services, fundraising and campaigning opportunities. The role is key to supporting the organisation’s purpose to make a significant impact on the lives of people living with visual impairment in Scotland through raising income from fundraising, expanding our campaigns network and maximising reach to ensure visually impaired people can benefit from our work.
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate experience of producing high-quality audience journeys using insights, data, and design deliverables and methodologies. You will be analytical and be able to apply user research methodology to capture user needs and values, using findings to make actionable insights and recommendations. You’ll have strong communication skills, and be able to communicate effectively with, and influence, a range of internal and external audiences, translating user needs and insights into clear and actionable recommendations.
If this opportunity sounds of interest and you are ready to join an organisation that is making a difference to our society, we welcome your application. Please get in touch with LHH to request further information (phone number removed)
