This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Trainee to join a market-leading electrical products business at their location in Glasgow. They are a national super distributor, working with customers across the public and private sectors, including universities, the NHS, property and construction developers and wholesalers. You will embark on a training development program that will equip you with all the knowledge, tools and skills needed to thrive in a successful sales career.

Their product range includes 185 leading brands from a spectrum of electrical products including major appliances, lighting, heating and renewable products. As part of a larger group with a turnover of 1 billion and over 2,000 employees nationwide, they are passionate about developing graduate talent.

Role Responsibilities

As a Graduate Sales & Business Trainee, you will embark on an exciting 6-month training programme immersing yourself in business operations and product knowledge. Upon completion, you will transition into a field-based role, managing client accounts and driving sales growth. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and nurturing client relationships
  • Researching and developing a pipeline of potential leads
  • Qualifying leads and closing deals
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Representing the business as the first point of contact for potential clients
