Our expanding Client, one of the fastest growing Commercial Insurance Brokers in Scotland, is recruiting for a Commercial Account Handler.
You’ll be an experienced Commercial Insurance professional and self motivated to provided first class service to your Clients and be looking to join a successful, busy but friendly team.
You will be able to work on a hybrid basis between your home and their office.
The main responsibilities of the Commercial Account Handler role include:
- Broking and placement of new business, renewals and mid term adjustments for Commercial clients
- Analyse clients insurance needs and provide tailored insurance solutions
- Negotiate with underwriters and secure the most competitive premiums and coverage terms for clients
- Preparation and distribution of market presentations and new business and renewal reports
- Insurance cover and policy wordings comparisons
To be a successful Commercial Account Handler you will demonstrate:
- Commercial Insurance technical experience
- A desire to develop strong Client and Insurer relationships
- Good negotiation skills
- The ability to support colleagues in a close team environment
- Excellent organisational skills
