Electrical Engineer Aberdeen Permanent
We are working with a leading engineering organisation seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development and lifecycle management of innovative products and systems within highly a regulated industry.
Job Description:
- Deliver electrical and electronic design solutions for new and existing products
- Produce technical documentation including specifications, test procedures and reports
- Carry out engineering calculations and support product improvements
- Review electrical drawings and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement and production
- Support projects from concept through to field deployment and ongoing support
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proven electrical and electronic design experience
- Strong engineering calculation and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CAD/design software and engineering standards
Desirable:
- Product design experience, particularly DC systems
- PLM system experience
- Marine, defence, offshore or other regulated industry experience
- Familiarity with LR and DNV standards
