Band 7 Occupational Therapist Rheumatology Out Patients
Part Time: 16.05hrs per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a B7 Occupational Therapist working 16.05hrs in the Rheumatology Out Patient service at Western General Hospital. This post offers flexibility with days of work as well as hybrid working.
Previous experience in Rheumatology would be desirable, however learning and development opportunities can be provided. Core Occupational Therapy skills of functional assessment are required for this post and supporting self-management of long term Rheumatology conditions is key.
There is great diversity within the caseload with patients being referred from age 16 to older adults, presenting with a variety and complex conditions
Therapy services support staff development through appraisal process, supervision and CPD opportunities.
To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visa and Immigrations Service. This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
