Job Description

NHS Lothian’s Public Dental Service is seeking a Dental Officer to provide paediatric and special care dentistry for patients with additional needs across Lothian. You will undertake routine dental care for children and adults who cannot be treated in the General Dental Service, including cases under general anaesthesia or conscious sedation.

This permanent post is 37.5 hours per week (1.0 WTE: 0.6 Paediatrics, 0.4 Special Care), with options for full or part-time working; you must hold current
