DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACY Specialist Pharmacist Clinical Trials (AfC Band 8a) 14.4 hours per week (Thursday and Friday only) Pharmacy Department, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary

We are delighted to invite applications for a Specialist Pharmacist Clinical Trials post within NHS Grampian. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated pharmacist to develop a specialist career in Clinical Trials.

Please note this post is fixed to Thursday and Friday each week, and applicants must be available to work on these days.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering a highly specialised Clinical Trials Pharmacy Service across NHS Grampian. This includes coordinating the review and acceptance of clinical trials, providing expert advice on investigational medicinal products (IMPs), and supporting the safe, effective and compliant use of clinical trial medicines.

We are looking for an experienced pharmacist with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with research teams, investigators and sponsors, contributing to the successful delivery of research across a wide range of specialties. You will also contribute to the supervision and training of staff and students, act as a professional role model, and participate in audit and service development activities.
