SUPPORT WORKER: (Learning Disability Focus)

Salary:£13.30 per hour(Guaranteed Annualised Hours Contract) Sleep-in enhancement – £51.50 per sleep

Contract:Permanent Hours:Full-Time, Part-Time (Includes days, evenings, and sleep-ins)

The Role: Key Responsibilities – Support Care Worker – Torbay, Devon

As a Support Worker, your vital and varied duties will include:

  • ProvideEssential Personal CareandMobility Support, including confident assistance with wheelchair users (moving, handling, transfers).
  • Deliver person-centred support for daily living, skills development, financial management, and community engagement.
  • DemonstrateEmotional Resilienceand maintain a positive presence across demanding and varied shift patterns.

The Essential Qualities We Seek

  • Driving Licence: due to the location, you must be able to drive
  • Compassion and Resilience:A truly caring nature coupled with the confidence to manage challenging situations.
  • Flexible and Adaptable:Willingness to work varied shifts (days, evenings, sleep-ins) and a professional approach to personal care.
  • Strong Communication:Excellent verbal and written skills for effective documentation and teamwork.
