Job Description

Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Technical Sales Coordinator to join our client based in North Lanarkshire.

Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for generating estimates and quotations, producing and modifying drawings, providing project support, and delivering excellent customer service and administrative assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

  • Prepare quotes, bills of materials, and proposal submissions for potential clients.
  • Work with clients from early project feasibility through to installation, commissioning, and provide occasional technical support during and post-installation.
  • Follow up on leads and opportunities to convert them into sales.
  • Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Technical & Project Support:

  • Use AutoCAD or equivalent software to produce and work with technical drawings for project planning and installation.
  • Manage focused, independent tasks on projects while working collaboratively with the wider project team.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to stay updated on the latest products, systems, and technologies.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring regular follow-ups for customer satisfaction.
  • Identify up sell opportunities and gather feedback to improve products and services.
  • Work directly with customers, ensuring smooth project execution and maintaining high service standards.

Collaboration & Project Management:

  • Liaise with management and external parties involved in project planning and execution.
  • Contribute to the overall success of projects by working as part of the wider project team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience within a Technical Sales Coordinator; Technical Project Engineer, CAD position
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
