Senior Associate, Regulatory & Investigations – Global Law Firm – Edinburgh/Glasgow or London

We are working with a prestigious international law firm that is seeking a Senior Associate (ideally 4+ PQE) to join its growing Regulatory & Investigations team in Scotland (Edinburgh or Glasgow) or London. The Role:
- Act on complex internal and external investigations across multiple sectors including financial services, energy, pharma, and media.
- Advise financial institutions and corporates on regulatory enforcement, financial crime compliance, market conduct, governance, AML, bribery, and corruption issues.
- Handle investigations involving major regulators and enforcement bodies (FCA, PRA, FRC, SFO).
- Collaborate with colleagues across the UK and globally, leveraging a strong international platform.
- Play an active role in business development and thought leadership, raising both your own profile and that of the practice.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Solicitor (UK Qualified) – 4 + years PQE
- Demonstrated expertise in regulatory disputes, enforcement, and investigations.
- Solid understanding of financial services regulation, AML/CTF, Bribery Act, and Proceeds of Crime Act.
- Exceptional drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- A proactive, commercial, and client-focused approach with the ability to work with autonomy.
