Connect Appointments have an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Rosyth-based client on a full-time permanent basis!

Working across a variety of mechanical products including motors and generators, the successful Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Conducting in-depth quality inspections during numerous stages of manufacturing
  • Completing and updating relevant paperwork and documentation
  • Producing key reports for different stakeholders
  • Fault-finding and subsequent repairs
  • Contributing to the improvement of internal processes
  • Complying with set standards within the manufacturing and repair processes

The ideal Quality Assurance Engineer will have at least 5 years of experience within a QC/QA position, along with:

  • HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience working to standards including IEEE, NEMA, ISO 9001
  • The ability to interpret drawings and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
