You will be joining a reputable law firm located in Edinburgh City Centre.
Your new role
As a Legal Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for providing PA, administrative and secretarial support to a small group of fee earners. Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing monthly billing processes and payment of invoices
- Complex diary and mailbox management
- Drafting and proofreading important legal documents
- Booking of travel and other commitments, and organising catering and equipment
- Assisting with meetings and writing of minutes
- Being a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Managing the invoicing process (queries, sending of invoices and arranging purchase orders)
- Handling expenses
- General administrative tasks (filing, scanning, paper storage, organising etc.)
What you’ll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar role (legal PA experience is desirable)
- Adaptable and capable of grasping new legal systems
- A proactive individual who is happy to go the extra mile for their team and fee earners
- Strong organisational skills
- Attention to detail
