Search Consultancy is currently recruiting for an Operations Associate to work with one of our investment clients based in Glasgow.
Location : Glasgow, City Centre
Contract: 12 Months

About the Role:
The operations team is crucial for the firm’s financial and reputational well-being, handling millions of transactions daily, mitigating risks, and fostering client relationships through advanced technology. The Institutional Securities Group Product Operations (ISGPO) collaborates with Sales & Trading and clients to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
Duties:
- You will be part of the Derivatives Clearing Client Service team in Europe, delivering excellent service to our clients daily.
- You will be responsible for processing both standard and non-standard transactions
- Operating as part of a team, you will be responsible for a specific product or functional process.
- You will understand the importance of following defined procedures and completing the appropriate checklists
- You will ensure dedicated adherence to Article 39 & Client Money regimes to protect client’s assets.
- You will validate and substantiate Collateral & Variation Margin balances.
Skills & Experience that will help you in the role:
- Experience within the financial services/investment banking sector
- Understand Cleared Derivatives
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail when analysing or interpreting data.
- Ability to comprehend and process complex data
- Strong Excel skills with some basic VBA/Macro knowledge
