What skills I am looking for:

  • Attention to Detail: Duty management in a bonded warehouse requires thorough attention to detail to ensure compliance with regulations and accurate record-keeping. You will be overseeing the logistics and supply of whisky products through our global distribution network.
  • Organisational Skills: Effective organization is crucial for managing stock, tracking shipments, and ensuring smooth operations in a bonded warehouse environment.
  • Communication/Customer Service Skills: Clear and effective communication is vital for coordinating activities within a distillery, liaising with suppliers and customers, and ensuring smooth collaboration across teams. One of your roles will be managing incoming customer service requests for bottling, cask storage/maturation, blending, sampling, regauging, and re-racking and it is important to our client that you go above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Collaboration is essential for success in a warehouse setting. The candidate should be able to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Analytical Thinking: Working alongside production to identify and rectify any possible discrepancies within stock control.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and navigate unforeseen challenges is crucial in a high-intensity work environment. It is important to be ready to take on any tasks associated with the operations, adapting to the ever-evolving landscape of our exciting business.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: In a dynamic work environment, unexpected challenges can arise. A candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address issues promptly and effectively.

  • An annual salary starting from £25,000, based on your experience.
